A recent change in Windows 8.1 is causing us some trouble. At this point in time, we have no information as to what has changed but it is causing random crashes in the graphing tool (FX Draw and FX Graph).
We recently repurposed our Windows 8.1 development machine in anticipation of a new development machine being delivered. Unfortunately, the new machine has been delayed so we are currently without a development machine to test this on. Hopefully this will be rectified within a week.
Short Term Fix
You can easily work around this issue:
1. Find FX Draw/FX Graph in your Start menu or Task Bar.
2. Right click on the program icon.
3. Choose Properties
4. On the Compatibility tab, choose Run this program in compatibility mode and choose Windows 8 or 7.
This will fix the problem until we release updated versions addressing this issue.
